Our stay was wonderful. The hotel stay was helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and clean, the in room sauna was wonderful after a day of skiing.

Great location at the bottom of the lift which was handy for a mid day sauna in the -20 degree weather! Having a ski clothing warmer and sauna was amazing but instructions for those and the dishwasher could be more accessible. No free parking. Would definitely go back!

Clean, enough kitchen essentials to see us through the week and cook for ourselves. Awesome location. Kids were happy we were right by the ice slide this year. Kitchen space is a bit snug but didn’t stop us in any way. We would definitely book again.

Staff at Basecamp Oulanka made a great effort to welcome us and to accommodate our plans. We were very pleased with our stay. We were also impressed by deep interest in the Oulanka park.

This is a simple accomodation next to a major ski resort that is virtually empty in sdummer. It was perfectly locates to nature reserves where we watched birds.

So it was a walk down 79 steps to the village, so in ski boots that is challenging but you get used to it. Hot water did run out after 30 minutes or so on a couple of occassions.
